This is what the clone and the sister-in-law were doing yesterday:

It’s the local SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism) group’s display at the Curry County (Clovis, NM) fair. The photo has been (badly) edited to hide the booths on either side. It was taken mostly to have a record of where everything is, so the set-up can be copied for next week’s fair here in Roosevelt County. I think there was supposed to be a banner on the back wall under the sign, but the guy who had it didn’t bring it… Anyway, the banner has the same design as the little shield-shapes on the sign: on a yellow background, black “water” beneath a red tower surrounded by a red laurel wreath, for the Shire of Blackwater Keep.
(List and descriptions of items in the display may be added if anyone is interested in knowing more.)

About Thomas Weaver
For several years, I’ve been putting my uncanny knack for grammar and punctuation, along with an eclectic mental collection of facts, to good use as a Wielder of the Red Pen of Doom (editor).
I'm physically disabled, and I currently live with my smugly good-looking twin Paul, who writes military science fiction and refuses to talk about his military service because he can’t. Sometimes Paul and I collaborate on stories, and sometimes I just edit whatever he writes. It's worked out rather well so far.
My list of non-writing-related jobs from the past includes librarian, art model, high school teacher, science lab gofer… Although I have no spouse or offspring to tell you about, I do have eight cats. I currently spend my time blogging, reading, editing, and fending off cats who like my desk better than my twin’s.
