Grammar Rants: an Introduction/Explanation

Some of my blog followers have expressed an interest in seeing more posts containing helpful tips and explanations of various rules/guidelines for grammar and punctuation.

Oh, who am I kidding?  They just like seeing Mercenary Proofreader totally lose his cool over a misplaced semicolon and start shouting and waving his hands and making throw my head at you gestures at the computer screen. ‘Cause it’s funny.

Anyway.  Whether you read these pages for education or entertainment, here they are.  I’m starting with some easy ones:  commas and question marks, that sort of thing.  After that, who knows?  Maybe I’ll tackle the daunting task of organizing that homophone list.
